Mervis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Mervis tied the game up at 1-1 in the fourth inning, when he took Brandon Pfaadt deep to right-center field for a 396-foot solo homer. Mervis has logged four home runs over his last five games, and his six long balls this year is tied for fourth-most in the majors.
