Stanton is out of the lineup Friday against the Braves, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Stanton was playing on another level during the month of August. Over 29 games he hit .349/.433/.899 and slugged 18 home runs. He's had a slow start to September, as he's gone just 3-for-24 (.125) across seven games, although two of his three hits have been home runs. Ichiro Suzuki will start in right field while Stanton sits out Friday.
