Robles went 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a walk in a loss to the Padres on Tuesday.

Robles was making his return from a two-game absence due to elbow discomfort, and the veteran outfielder picked up right where he left off in terms of his hot hitting. Robles is now batting a blistering .426 over his last 17 games, a stretch in which he has seven extra-base hits, 11 RBI and seven steals, along with a modest 14.1 percent strikeout rate. The 27-year-old's bat has been the Mariners' most consistent, even though he didn't arrive in Seattle until June 4 after placed on unconditional release waivers by the Nationals.
