Robles (hip) is starting in center field and batting leadoff Friday against the Phillies, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.
Robles left in the eighth inning of Tuesday's game against the Red Sox due to a hip injury. He sat out of Wednesday's game against Boston, and Seattle's off day Thursday has given him enough time to heal up and return to the lineup. Since joining the Mariners on June 4, Robles is slashing .360/.422/.520 with nine stolen bases, six doubles, two home runs and five RBI across 81 plate appearances.
