Rodriguez (ankle) went 0-for-5 with five strikeouts in his return to the lineup during Sunday's win over the Mets.

Rodriguez missed just under three weeks with a high-ankle sprain before being activated prior to Sunday's game. The Mariners were still able to put up 12 runs despite his ugly day at the plate. While Rodriguez was deemed ready to return physically, it seems as though he's got some rust to shake off at the plate. The 23-year-old is slashing .260/.311/.368 with 11 homers, 37 RBI, 45 runs, 18 steals and a 24:117 BB:K in 418 plate appearances.
