Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Polanco got in on the fun of the Mariners' 13-hit barrage with a fifth-inning shot off Steven Matz with Justin Turner aboard, extending Seattle's lead to 9-2 at the time. Polanco snapped a nine-game homer drought with the round tripper, which was also just his second hit in the last eight contests. The 31-year-old notably went down on strikes in his other three plate appearances Sunday, pushing his strikeout rate to a career-worst 30.6 percent and highlighting one of the primary culprits behind his career-low .204 average, .296 OBP and .643 OPS.
