Winker left Monday's game against the Yankees due to back spasms, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports. He struck out in both of his plate appearances before departing.

Winker will likely be re-evaluated Tuesday to determine his availability moving forward. Jake Lamb and Kyle Lewis would be the primary candidates to pick up playing time in place of Winker in the short term, though Sam Haggerty would likely be the frontrunner to serve as Seattle's top left fielder if Winker requires a stint on the injured list and if Julio Rodriguez (wrist) is activated from the IL on Wednesday or Friday, as is anticipated.
