Segura went 3-for-3 with a single, RBI double and two-run home run in Monday's 14-3 rain-shortened Cactus League loss to the Royals.
Segura has been outstanding over his first two games, going 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles. one homer, three RBI and two runs. The prospect of a locked-in Segura hitting ahead of Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz and Kyle Seager is sure to give opposing pitchers plenty of apprehension this coming season, and the offseason acquisition looks primed for even better production than his superb 2016 campaign in Arizona with his spring performances thus far.
