The Mariners optioned Legumina to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.
Legumina has collected an 11.57 ERA since the beginning of July and was knocked around for five runs in a relief outing in Monday's 12-7 loss to Philadelphia. He'll try to get back on track at Tacoma.
