Pirates starter Jeanmar Gomez, on the 15-day disabled list with a forearm strain, is scheduled to be activated from the disabled list to start Wednesday against the Mariners at Safeco Field, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Gomez is 1-0 with a 3.26 ERA as a starter (seven starts). He is 1-0 with a 2.52 ERA in six appearances (three starts) on the road.
