Brantley (shoulder) took batting practice Monday for the first time since landing on the DL in mid-May, MLB.com reports. "I feel great. I was able to take BP pain-free, able to swing the bat like I normally do. It's a great feeling," Brantley said following his batting practice session.
The Indians will wait and see how Brantley feels the next few days before deciding on their next course of action but he could be cleared for a rehab assignment by the All-Star break if things continue to progress.
