Ramirez provided an insurance run with his blast in the seventh inning, taking Ralph Garza deep to round out the scoring. It marked the 33rd homer of the year for the 28-year-old Ramirez, who owns an .899 OPS and 87 RBI in 539 plate appearances. He's also swiped 21 bases in 24 attempts.
