Ramirez (shoulder) is out of the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader with Kansas City.
Ramirez could rejoin the starting nine for the nightcap, but Cleveland may prefer to stay away from the 27-year-old for the day after he injured his right shoulder in Sunday's blowout win over the Yankees. Before departing, Ramirez enjoyed a nice day at the dish, going 2-for-2 with four RBI and a run. Oscar Mercado will spell Ramirez in left field as Cleveland kicks off a nine-game week that includes a pair of doubleheaders.
