McKenzie (illness) is listed among the Guardians' scheduled pitchers for Tuesday's Cactus League game against the Padres, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Manager Terry Francona said Monday that McKenzie was feeling under the weather, but the lanky right-hander apparently made enough progress overnight to put himself in position to pitch Tuesday. McKenzie is scheduled to follow starter Zach Plesac, with both pitchers likely to work multiple innings as they get stretched out in advance of Opening Day.
