Naylor (back) will bat cleanup and play first base Friday against the Royals, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
Naylor hasn't played since leaving the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Tigers due to back spasms, but the issue has evidently subsided. That's great news for the Guardians, as Naylor is slashing .276/.332/.510 on the year.
