Schneemann is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.
Schneemann and fellow left-handed hitters Bo Naylor and Will Brennan will hit the bench for the series opener while the Cubs send southpaw Shota Imanaga to the hill. Tyler Freeman will get the nod at shortstop in place of Schneemann.
