Morris (shoulder) was placed on the 60-day injured list Friday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
It was announced earlier in the week that Morris' injury would cost him at least 4-to-6 weeks, but Cleveland decided to place him on the 60-day IL to open up a spot on the 40-man roster for Bryan Shaw.
