Heuer was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday.
Heuer will be making his first appearance in the major leagues for Cleveland if/when he gets into a game. To make room for him on the roster, Franco Aleman was sent down to Columbus. The 29-year-old Heuer has a 2.57 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB over 14 innings at Columbus this year and will give the Guardians' injury-riddled bullpen a fresh arm.
