DeLauter was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers with a right wrist sprain, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
DeLauter made one trip to the IL earlier this season with rib injury and recently missed time with hamstring tightness. The extent of his latest issue isn't entirely clear, though the initial diagnosis sounds ominous. Travis Bazzana replaced DeLauter at designated hitter in the nightcap.
