DeLauter (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Friday's matchup with the Royals.
DeLauter, absent from the starting lineup for the previous three games, is seemingly past the worst of his hamstring issue. The 24-year-old entered the Guardians' most recent game against the Angels and contributed to a comeback win with a single in the ninth. DeLauter will act as the designated hitter and bat second for Cleveland's series opener against Kansas City.
