Doughty (shoulder) is scheduled to start Saturday for High-A Lake County in its matchup with West Michigan, SI.com reports.
Despite not pitching after Aug. 15 last season at Single-A Lynchburg after being shut down with right shoulder inflammation, Doughty will open the 2026 campaign at the High-A level after coming out of spring training healthy. The 20-year-old righty had been one of Lynchburg's top arms when healthy, turning in a 3.48 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 99:23 K:BB across 85.1 innings.
