Martinez isn't in the lineup for Game 5 of the ALDS against the White Sox on Saturday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
Martinez will retreat to the bench Saturday after going 0-for-15 to begin the Guardians' postseason run. Steven Kwan will shift to left field as a result, allowing Petey Halpin to start in center.
