Giants' Patrick Bailey: Lands on injured list

The Giants placed Bailey on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right oblique strain, retroactive to Aug. 19.
After the team initially labeled Bailey's side injury as minor tightness, an MRI revealed Tuesday that the 25-year-old catcher suffered a strained oblique. Curt Casali will now take over as the Giants' primary catcher while Bailey is out, and Jakson Reetz will come up from Triple-A Sacramento to give the team some depth behind the plate.
