Dubon went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 10-5 win over Colorado.
Mike Yastrzemski (illness) was scratched from the lineup and Dubon slotted into the No. 7 spot in the order. The 27-year-old delivered arguably his best game of the season on short notice, which included a two-run single in the sixth inning for San Francisco's last runs. He's slashing .241/.280/.382 with five home runs, 22 RBI, 19 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 182 plate appearances. With center field a sudden point of weakness for the Giants, Dubon and Steven Duggar could both see short-term increases in playing time.
