Arraez was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Padres due to cramps, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Arraez experienced the symptoms during pregame warmups and was removed from the Giants' lineup for "precautionary reasons." Osleivis Basabe will now start at second base and bat ninth while Bryce Eldridge hits out of the leadoff spot.
