Pederson isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's contest with the Rockies, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Pederson -- along with his .679 OPS against lefties -- will take a seat Tuesday as Kyle Freeland will begin the game for Colorado. In Pederson's place, Austin Slater will pick up a start in left field and lead off for the Giants.
