Pederson will sit against lefty Austin Gomber and the Rockies on Monday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Pederson hasn't made a single start against a southpaw this season. Considering his career 67 wRC+ against lefties and the Giants' affinity for platoons, that setup is unlikely to change any time soon. Austin Slater will get the start in left field.
