Callahan (shoulder) was activated off the injured list at Triple-A Sacramento earlier in July.
Callahan has allowed one run on four hits and has 11 strikeouts through his first five frames with the River Cats. The 24-year-old missed the first two months of the season due to injury before beginning a rehab assignment in mid-June.
