Ramos is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies due to a right thumb injury, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
It's not believed to be a serious injury, but the Giants will rest Ramos on Sunday to give him two straight days of rest with Monday's team off day. Derek Hill will instead start in center field and bat ninth in the series finale versus Colorado.
