The Giants recalled Law from Triple-A Sacramento, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The right-hander's 5.40 ERA this year was a far cry from last year's 2.13, which in retrospect was a bit too good, despite his intriguing skills. Law will pitch in the middle innings, with some high-leverage appearances, for a club playing out the string.
