Law pitched a scoreless ninth inning to collect his third save of the season during Saturday's win over the Reds.
With Mark Melancon (elbow) on the disabled list, Law has filled in and provided serviceable virtual numbers. Law's value is likely to be fleeting with Melancon eligible to return from the DL on May 16, but regardless of the initial severity of any arm injury, setbacks or additional aggravation aren't out of the question. This might not be the last stretch of the season that Law moves the fantasy needle.
