Ruf (oblique) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.
Ruf spent the minimal amount of time on the injured list with a right oblique strain, but he'll be available for Thursday's series finale against Arizona. The 35-year-old should see plenty of playing time at first base since Brandon Belt recently sustained a fractured thumb.
