Schmitt went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 8-2 win over the Cardinals.
Schmitt doubled in the fourth inning and added an RBI single in the seventh. With that, the 26-year-old infielder recorded his second multi-hit performance over his last three outings. He's slashing .241/.313/.409 with 33 RBI, 28 runs scored and 10 homers across 285 plate appearances this season.
