Belt went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 7-2 victory versus the Rockies on Friday.
Belt's sixth-inning, 424-foot shot to right field broke a 2-2 tie to give the Giants a lead they did not relinquish. It was the veteran's 27th homer of the campaign, well above his previous career-high mark of 18. Belt has been hot at the plate of late, batting .373 (22-for-59) with six homers, 13 RBI and 17 runs over his past 15 games.
