Belt will sit against lefty Daniel Castano and the Marlins on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Belt started against the first southpaw the Giants faced, though that may have been a special Opening Day exemption for the veteran. He's now found himself sitting against each of the next six lefties to take the hill against his team. Wilmer Flores will be the first baseman Friday.
