Belt isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics.
Unsurprisingly, Belt will head to the bench with a lefty in Brett Anderson slated to pitch for the opposition. Aramis Garcia, who was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento earlier in the day, draws the start at first base and is hitting seventh with Belt sitting.
