Belt went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Marlins.

It was an impressive performance from the veteran first baseman in the Giants' opener, highlighted by an eighth-inning blast off lefty reliever Richard Bleier. Belt posted career-best power numbers last year with 29 homers and a .597 SLG, and he's picked up right where he left off to begin 2022.
