The Giants transferred Houser (forearm) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, effectively ending his season, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Houser exited his start versus the Reds last Tuesday due to a right forearm strain. The right-hander got an MRI the following day that revealed the extent of the injury. With the Giants out of the playoff picture, Houser's season is being shut down. He concludes 2026 with a 4.02 ERA and 1.30 WHIP across 109.2 innings over 26 appearances (16 starts).
