Padres second baseman Logan Forsythe made his Cactus League debut on Sunday against the Mariners after dealing with a sore knee earlier in camp. He went 0 for 3 with a strikeout in the 8-3 loss. Forsythe is competing with Jedd Gyorko for the starting job at second base this spring.
