Padres infielder Logan Forsythe is expected to be sidelined until the weekend with a foot issue he started experiencing last Friday, U-T San Diego reports. Forsythe, who is vying for the starting job at second base this spring, is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot and received an injection on Sunday to help alleviate the pain. He was fashioning a protective boot on his right foot Monday.
