Yamamoto (triceps) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday and then rejoin the Dodgers to throw live batting practice later on in the week, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Yamamoto has already completed multiple side sessions, and assuming all goes well during Tuesday's workout, he'll move on to the next phase of his rehab program by facing batters for the first time since going on the injured list June 16. The 25-year-old is still a week or more away from beginning a minor-league rehab assignment, and he's likely to require multiple outings on the farm to build up his pitch count and get stretched back out for starting duty. Yamamoto worked up to 30 pitches in his most recent bullpen session.
