Dave Roberts said Saturday that Glasnow (elbow) played catch from 60 feet and Glasnow's absence will be longer than originally expected, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Glasnow was placed on the injured list Aug. 16 with right elbow tendinitis and was able to resume a throwing program Saturday. While his absence will extend into September, Roberts expressed optimism Glasnow will pitch again during the regular season. Bobby Miller has stepped into Glasnow's spot in the rotation.
