Alexander (shoulder) continues to conduct his rehab program at the Dodgers' spring training facility in Arizona, but manager Dave Roberts said the lefty reliever is "a ways away" from coming off the 10-day injured list, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports.
Stephen suggests Alexander could be a candidate to move to the 60-day IL, in which case he wouldn't be eligible to return until the back half of September. Though Alexander hasn't been shut down, the fact that the Dodgers aren't yet mapping out a rehab assignment for him suggests he's at least a couple weeks away from a return in a best-case scenario.
