Sasaki (finger) tossed a multi-inning simulated game at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Sasaki continues to progress in his throwing program while recovering from a blister on his right middle finger that caused him to land on the 15-day injured list Aug. 27. The 24-year-old right-hander may not need to go on a rehab assignment before rejoining the team, and he could be back in the rotation by the end of the Dodgers' upcoming road trip, per Ardaya.
