Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson continued his power display when he connected for his 16th home run of the season during Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Rockies.

Pederson connected off David Hale in the third inning for the solo shot. It was his third-straight game with a home run. Pederson finished the game 2 for 5 with one run. He also tripled in the seventh inning to drive in his second run of the game.

"You want him to get on base, and he's close to .400; I think he's doing OK," manager Don Mattingly said, per MLB.com. "We like what Joc's doing."

Over his last eight games, Pederson is 12 for 35 with three home runs and six RBI.
