Jansen picked up the save Tuesday against the Padres after tossing a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and one walk while fanning two.
Jansen had a stretch of three straight blown saves just after the All-Star break, but it's safe to say those struggles are a thing of the past now. He has allowed just three earned runs across his last 12 appearances and has gone 7-for-7 in save chances during that span. Jansen has gone 28-for-35 in save chances this season. Considering the struggles seem to be behind him, he should remain the top closing option for the Dodgers going forward.
