Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Locks down 37th save

Jansen struck out the side during a perfect ninth inning to pick up the save over the Padres on Wednesday.

The Dodgers rallied for five runs in the eighth to take an 11-9 lead over their division foes, allowing Jansen to enter for a save opportunity. The 33-year-old shut the door on the Padres, needing just 10 pitches to strike out the side in dominant fashion. Jansen has now converted 16 straight saves dating back to July 24 and has 37 overall on the year. He stands at a 2.26 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 85:36 K:BB over 67.2 innings this season.
