Jansen was called upon to pitch the ninth inning of a 2-1 game and delivered despite surrendering a one-out double to Yoshi Tsutsugo. The All-Star reliever has slowed noticeably since the start of July as the save is just his fourth in that span and his ERA has more than doubled from 1.34 to 2.85.
