Turner (hamstring) expects to rejoin the club sometime this weekend, J.P. Hoornstra of The Orange County Register reports.
The third baseman went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in his first rehab game with High-A Rancho Cucamonga. Manager Dave Roberts said that Turner will get a scheduled day off Tuesday before continuing his rehab Wednesday with an eye toward a weekend return. The 32-year-old was batting third while carrying a .379 batting average prior to suffering a hamstring injury May 18.
