Kelly (shoulder) hasn't thrown off a mound since landing on the injured list Aug. 10 and isn't close to being activated, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
The 32-year-old remains without an official timeline for his return, and that's unlikely to change until he resumes mound work. Kelly will also need to serve a five-game suspension once activated before actually rejoining the team.
